" Adam & Eve 2 " von Sonja Witte From my perspective, the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is like a metaphor for our transition from non-physical to physical. The non-physical realm is a place of pure energy and there is no contrast, like the Garden of Eden. We choose to come forth into the physical realm, accepting the contrast because we know that the desires that are born from the contrast will cause an expansion of the Universe. In similar fashion, Eve ate the apple knowing that it would create contrast. In my mind, Eve stopped following the "don't eat the apples" rule and by doing so, introduced contrast which caused her to give birth to new desires, which caused an expansion that moved the story of humankind forward.
